R Kelly finds himself becoming a more isolated individual after key members of his team have resigned amid the latest sexual misconduct allegations. Kelly's longtime personal assistant Diana Copeland and attorney Linda Mensch have both stepped away from their positions with Kelly citing the recent allegations of drugging and infecting a 19-year-old with a sexually transmitted disease as well as grooming a 14-year-old to become his "sex pet."
After BBC aired a three-part docuseries about R Kelly entitled, R Kelly: Sex, Girls, and Videotapes, both Mensch and Copeland cited the series as the last straw. Copeland went on record to say that she no longer worked for the R&B legend while Mensch stated that she "no longer represented. Mr Kelly or his entities."
Sources close to the situation say this is only the beginning as there are several other employees looking to disassociate with Kelly in the near future.
