Tory Lanez proved he has what it takes to be a YouTube commentator should he ever decide he wants to give up his successful music career.
The R&B sensation took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 9, to place a hilarious jab at DJ Akademiks and his bid to become a rapper. The singer held no punches after Akademiks dropped a trailer for his single “Blues Clues," trolling Ak with a spot-on impression of the DJ’s own commentary style.
“This ya boy Tory Lanez man... I’m seeing this ni**a with blue and red dreads going by lil AK,” Lanez said. “We all know it's DJ Akademiks fat ass over here. I'm trying to figure out what the f**k is going on in this video."
The singer even went as far as to sport a similar watermark Akademiks uses for his videos. However, it appears that the roasting is all in good fun as Lanez understands that Ak’s budding rap career is really just a parody of the current rap scene.
