The Air Jordan IV 'Raptors' were initially set to drop in April but as that month came and went there was no exclusive Jordan 4s. However, the limited edition 4s have a new release date for later this summer on August 18th. It is also important to note that the final retail version will not feature the Drake signature on the tongue as those pictured above.

The 'Raptors' iterations of Air Jordan retro silhouettes like the classic Air Jordan VII and Air Jordan V truly have never been an ode to the Toronto-based NBA basketball organization, especially with the Air Jordan VII officially entitled the 'True Red' releasing three prior to the existence of the Toronto Raptors franchise. Now, it looks like another Air Jordan retro sneaker is going to be receiving the same 'Raptors' nickname in this never-before-seen rendering of the Air Jordan IV.

This particular sneaker features a black suede base complete with matching synthetic side panel netting, 'University Red' accents that hit the synthetic lacing system/eyelets, tongue lining, and outsole while a speckled 'Court Purple' midsole catches the eye. There's no telling if the sneaker will feature Nike AIR or a Jumpman logo placed at the heel for now but, we expect the kicks to come with the notorious Jumpman hang tag.

As of right now, the Air Jordan IV NRG 'Raptors' colorway has no official release date but is expected to release in limited quantities in the near future for a retail price tag of $190. With that said, let us know if these joints are cop worthy in the comment section below.
