Usher just got hit with some more bad news, as he was reportedly the victim of a home burglary in which the culprits made off with close to a million dollars' worth of cash and jewelry.

The news comes a week after it was announced that the singer's wife of three years, Grace Miguel, had filed for divorce due to the marriage being strained to the breaking point over allegations which emerged last year that Usher had given a woman herpes.

According to a police report filed by the LAPD and obtained by The Blast, it was Grace Miguel who reported Usher's house had been broken into after being notified by the housekeeper on March 29.

The housekeeper reportedly told Miguel that when she arrived at the house that morning, she “discovered a footprint on the second floor, a handprint on the pillow in the lower floor, and the curtains to the lower floor window were open.”

While the home had a video security system, it appears the thieves were covering all bases. When the housekeeper went to check where the security camera recording box was kept, “she noticed that the recording box was missing and connecting wires were cut.”

Miguel believes the culprits probably unlocked a window of the home during a recent open house for the property, which is currently on the market. She thinks they stole the jewelry one day and returned at a later date to retrieve the recording box.

Among the items stolen were six watches, including one worth $220,000. Also taken was a rose gold Jesus necklace worth $200,000, cash, and other pieces of jewelry.
