President Trump isn't the only member of the Trump family with a controversial past coming back to haunt him.

A photo of Donald Trump Jr. holding a severed elephant tail was posted on a billboard by PETA. The picture is from a hunting trip to Africa Trump Jr. made with his brother Eric several years ago. PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is using the billboard to both publicly shame the President’s son and raise awareness about the killing of animals that pose no threat to humans.

The billboard was placed in Texas, near the U.S.-Mexico border. PETA says the motivation behind it is to "remind people about the presence of the real ‘undesirables’ much closer to home.” (PETA) The organization reportedly plans to also put these billboards in El Paso and Laredo, Texas, which are both border towns.

PETA released a statement shortly after the Trump brothers original hunting trip to the continent of Africa was made public and photos began surfacing. “If the young Trumps are looking for a thrill, perhaps they should consider skydiving, bungee jumping, or even following in their anti-hunting father’s footsteps and take down competing businesses—not wild animals.”

It's been open season on the Trump family lately. You never know who's going to get in on the action next.
