As time progresses, Drake's career only gets bigger. The hip-hop icon has a catalog of hit records that come from either one of his official studio albums, one of his many mixtapes or collaboration projects, or one of the several hit features he's delivered since taking over the game in 2009. Yes, it's already been almost ten years since "Best I Ever Had" was released.
Drizzy made a guest appearance at Majid Jordan’s Toronto show on Thursday night (April 5) and announced that he has an album on the way. He also revealed that he would be dropping a single within 24 hours. "I go by the name of Drake," starts the rapper who obviously didn't need any introduction. “The reason I’m here tonight is because I’m back in the city finishing my album,” Drake revealed to a packed house. “I’ve got a new single dropping tomorrow night too, just in case you got some free time.”
If the aesthetic of Drake's Scary Hours is any hint as to what his new project will sound like, fans should be excited about his new work. Both "God's Plan" and "Diplomatic Immunity" were reminiscent of Drizzy's older work where he seemed more focused on the world around him.
