Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a generous man who loves his family and his friends. Almost every interview you see with the wrestler turned actor features the big man smiling broadly and spreading his infectious good energy. Johnson was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, and he opened up about buying his father a new car.
"You know, it's just a tough life, the world of wrestling," stated Johnson, speaking about his father Rocky Johnson, who was also a wrestler. "He had both his knees done, he just had his hip done. So here's what’s funny out of this circumstance. He's a tough guy, he had his hip done, and I get a call from him."
Continuing with his story, he explains that his father called him to ask for a new ride. Speaking as his father, Johnson says, "'Well, the doctor said that the bucket seats in my car would be much better if the car was a Cadillac Escalade.'"
"The crazy thing is I literally just got him a car last Christmas," laughs Johnson. "He wanted this Ford Explorer and I'm like, 'Yeah, no problem' and he's like, 'Yeah, but the problem is the bucket seats in the Escalade.'"
"Here's the thing, I have this problem," reveals Johnson. "I do have an issue, right? It's like a little sickness that I have where I really enjoy buying cars and giving cars to people. I'm the big, brown, bald, tattooed Oprah."
