Lil Mo has come to the defense of her friend and former Love & Hip Hop co-star Fabolous amid the domestic violence drama the rapper has been engulfed by since video surfaced of him threatening girlfriend Emily B and her father.

Fabolous has been charged with aggravated assault and making terroristic threats since the violent outburst. If found guilty he could be looking at 3 to 5 years in prison. Mo vows that if there is anyone who will stick by the Brooklyn rapper through the thick and the thin it would be her. During a recent interview with Revolt TV, Mo confirmed that she and Fab have been in contact, that he is in good spirits, and that she fully intends on ensuring that it remains that way.

“I’m not letting him go out like that,” Mo told Revolt. “I’ll Olivia Pope this situation before I let somebody take my brother down. Something don’t seem right.”

Mo later received a bit of backlash on social media for taking the position she did. None of it deterred her from holding Fabolous down though. “I don’t switch sides!! ever!! y’all be tooooo mixxy and choosy!” she went on to tweet. “Alotta people really love to be on these apps all day talking about other people. I hope your house is in order and you getting a check for your negativity bcuz it’s disgusting and that’s the only reason I can come up with to think why your heart is so full of hate!”
