Kendrick Lamar is one of the most famous rappers on the planet. Last year, his album DAMN. took over the charts, and became the highest selling rap album of 2017. In fact, DAMN. was the second highest selling album of the year, only barely being beaten out by Ed Sheeran's Divide. Then, at the Grammy Awards in 2018, Kendrick took home 4 awards, including Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song.

Lamar has been known to be frugal with his spending. He talks about his own battles with financial fears in his music, stating that he does not like spending large amounts of money just to do it. It looks like Kendrick is looking to make some smart spending moves though, as the "HUMBLE" rapper just bought a six-bedroom six-bathroom home in Calabasas, California. According to TMZ, Lamar was repped by Kathy Tyndall of Re/Max Estate Properties in the sale, and Jennifer Winchell of Rodeo Realty sold the home.

Allegedly, Lamar will not be living in the home, and the $2.65 million 5,400 square home is an investment for the young rapper. Rihanna notably flipped one of her homes earlier this year, a move that gained her a $100k profit. Real estate is where the money's at
