Nas and DMX go way back. One of the most epic gangsta hood flicks of all-time starred the two New York rappers. While DMX was at the height of his fame, he starred alongside Nas, T Boz from TLC, and Method Man in Belly.

The story follows Sincere and Tommy (Nas and DMX) as they move up in the game from crooks to drug dealers. The opening scene of the film may be one of the most legendary scenes in all of hip-hop culture.
DMX has been facing legal trouble for over a decade now, and he was sentenced to a year in prison for evading taxes this week. His longtime friend and co-star of Belly, Nas, felt some kind of way about his fellow rapper being locked up. The Queensbridge lyricist took to Instagram to send some love DMX's way.
"With T Boz filming Belly. #FreeDMX" wrote Nas on a picture of himself and the TLC member in a car. T Boz is wearing the same haircut she sports in the film, and she and Nas give the camera the middle finger in the pic.
