The Detroit Tigers and Eminem have teamed up to rep 'The D' heavy just in time for the start of the Major League Baseball season. On Wednesday, March 28, the Rochester Hills born rapper took to social media to announce his collaboration with the storied franchise by posting up several images of a customized jersey that Majestic Athletics created in honor of their symbolic partnership.

"Return of the classic! @majesticathletic Authentic @tigers Home Jersey drops once again for opening day… link in bio to get first access. Extremely limited. #DETROIT #REVIVAL," Em wrote in the caption of a post he put up to promote the merch to his 18.4 million followers on Instagram.

The three photos shown reveal the Eminem jersey to bear all of the markings of the Tigers' classic game-time gear. What's different is the Mathers name and how its letter 'E' is written backward in the fashion that fans know it to have been presented in the past. The number written under Em's last name is '8', which of course signifies his role in bringing fans the '8 Mile' movie.

Unfortunately, fans who might be interested in copping one will have to seek around on resale sites, as all sizes of the limited edition item were sold out within 24 hours of the rapper notifying fans about its release.
