By now, you've probably seen the hashtag, #WhoBitBeyonce making it's rounds on social media. The source of that inquiry comes from a newly released GQ interview with comedian Tiffany Haddish.
Haddish told the interviewer, Caity Weaver, that she met Mrs. Carter back in December at a party. It was Bey who sauntered up to Haddish and introduced herself. This would just be the beginning. "There was this actress there, that's just, like, doing the mostest. She bit Beyonce in the face."
Haddish refuses to name this actress. She continues, "So Beyonce stormed away, went up to JAY-Z and was like, Jay! Come here! This b***h—’ and snatched him. They went to the back of the room. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ And Beyoncé's friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this b***h just bit Beyonce?'"
The party went on. According to Haddish, she had a brief showdown with the anonymous actress. When Bey and Jay walked by again, Haddish recalls tapping Beyonce and telling her she was going to beat that woman's a** at the party. Bey told Haddish to chill, she parlayed the moment into that infamous selfie with the queen. This, of course, is not the first mention Haddish has made of this particular Beyonce encounter. Still, Haddish says there was more.
“Near the end of the party, Beyoncé's at the bar, so I said to Beyoncé, ‘Did she really bite you?’ She was like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘She gonna get her ass beat tonight.’ She was like, ‘Tiffany, no. Don't do that. That b**** is on drugs. She not even drunk. The b**** is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.’ ”
Since the article's release, social media has been tossing names around trying to figure out who the culprit might be. Even Chrissy Teigen chimed in tweeting, "I can only think of one person who would do this. but I cannot say. but she...is the worst."
Beyonce's representative, Yvette Noel-Schure told GQ "I absolutely cannot comment on any of this, as I have no knowledge."
