What should be a celebration of life, ended up being a social media battle.
Celina Powell took to Twitter to announce that the YRN is allegedly the father of her child. She posted screenshots of a conversation she claims to have had with the rapper on social media.
The convo consisted of a series of potential "booty calls" assisted with Offset's avatar. However, he was unphased by the claims and responded, "I don't know dis h*e stop lying on me weirdo." Of course, Powell wasn't going to let it go so easily. She laid into Offset for apparently lying about knowing her and urged him to get ready for a paternity test.
Here's where the problem lies. Offset explained that the avatar in the screenshot doesn't match the timeline of when she claims to have spoken to him. The picture is the cover art for his joint mixtape with 21 Savage, Without Warning, which was set after its 2017 release. However, the screenshotted conversation showed 2016 dates. To counter his argument, Celina says the reason the avatars don't match is because she screenshot the chats in 2017. Twitter users know a person's avatar will change to their current picture in DMs no matter how long ago a conversation was had.
Therefore, the only real way of seeing who's telling the truth about the matter is through Powell's suggested paternity test. However, Celina seems pretty confident that Offset, aka Kendrell Cephus, fathered the daughter she named Karma Kiari Cephus.
