Yolanda Renee King was a force to be reckoned with at D.C. March for Our Lives.
The young 9-year-old lady was a surprise guest at the movement to end gun violence. Martin Luther King Jr.'s granddaughter stood by Stoneman Douglas High School student, Jaclyn Corin, and brought her own voice to the stage to express the need to be the generation to lead.
The civil rights pioneer was gunned down, himself, in 1968, but his legacy was remembered in the District's latest protest. Yolanda channeled her grandfather and spoke to the massive crowd of influencers. She referred to his iconic words from his I Have a Dream speech while delivering her personal inspirational message about change.
"My grandfather had a dream that his four little children will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream that enough is enough! And that this should be a gun-free world, period!"
The young King went on to lead a chant of promising to "spread the word" and "be a great generation."
Cheers and applause followed, showing just as Yolanda said, everyone has had enough and are ready to make a change.
