You can’t stop the reign.
Shaq has been loved by fans and the world at large since he first entered the game over 20 years ago. He was a phenomenal player on the court; he is arguably the greatest rapper that came from the NBA, even making a hit with the late Notorious BIG. Since he exited the game, he’s been a ball to watch as a sports commentator.
He recently made a video on his birthday where he tied a few hundred dollars to a balloon and launched it into the air. No word if anyone ever found the money. He’s back at it again, but this time he’s increased the amount of money that he’s giving away substantially. In a video uploaded to Instagram, large bundles of $100 bill wrapped in plastic lay across a table.
The video pans over to Shaq, and he says, “Do you know why the people love the Shaq Diesel, because everybody eats.” He then begins passing out massive stacks of money to everyone in the room. Stack after stack is passed around, and Shaq continues saying, “Everybody eats,” a line made famous by A Boogie off the cult-classic, Paid In Full.
After passing out a few more stacks while saying, “Merry Christmas in Shaq’s funhouse,” Shaq looks at the camera and says, “Floyd you ain’t the only one that got that money now.”
Shaq could be up to some antics for the gram, but realistically, he’s worth $400 million, so it could be real.
