In this clip, Godfrey discussed running into Black Thought and praising him for his Hot97 freestyle in person. Godfrey went on to discuss how hard it is to actually freestyle and commends rappers for having the skill level to do it. He also made it clear that he doesn't care if the rhymes have been pre-written or that they're pieced together from other verses. Godfrey believes the ability to put together something like Black Thought did, for 10 minutes no less, deserves to be praised.
Godfrey went on to demonstrate how difficult freestyling is by rapping himself and goes on to mock the mumble rappers out there in the process.
