Rumors first broke late last week that Logic and his wife, Instagram star and singer Jessica Andrea, were splitting up. On Tuesday, the Maryland-born rapper confirmed the news in a lengthy statement posted to his Instagram.

"After two years of marriage, we have come to the loving conclusion that we are much better as friends," wrote Logic. "As entertainers, we have made every aspect of our lives public, yet we would appreciate your respect and privacy on this issue."

The Bobby Tarantino rapper hasn't been seen with his estranged wife since the 2018 Grammy Awards earlier this year when they appeared to be happily in love. It became clear that trouble was brewing, however, after Andrea unfollowed her husband on social media.

In the statement, Logic was quick to shut down any rumors that the divorce was brought on by unsavory actions from either party.

"At the same time, we would like to shut down the speculation and potential internet clickbait as to the "why" in how this happened, or the "who might have done what to whom.

"It's very simple: it just didn't work out. There is no anger involved. No fighting, no cheating, no nothing."
