People keep claiming that Jim Carrey has lost his mind, but that might not be true. The talented comedian has made generations of people laugh from The Mask and Liar Liar to Dumb & Dumber and Ace Ventura. Recently though, Carrey's gigantic beard and outlandish statements have landed him in hot water. This past weekend, Carry received even more backlash when he posted a self-made painting of White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
On the social media post, Carrey writes, "This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!"
The painting features a slightly disturbing rendering of Sanders, although her features are spot on. After the internet reacted to Carrey, with some calling him a bully and others supporting his vision, he posted another self-made painting.
The second painting featured Donald Trump as the wicked witch of the west from the classic movie The Wizard Of Oz. "If you liked my last cartoon you may also enjoy...'THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST WING AND PUTIN’S FLYING MONKEYS,'" wrote Carrey as the caption.
In a short documentary entitled I Needed Color that was released last year, Carrey explains that he took up painting to help him vent and heal.
