Trey Songz might be known for serenading the ladies with his R&B catalog but, one thing that is for certain about the singer is that he's not a chump. In the past, we've seen Songz publicly deal with legal disputes and lash out during his shows which resulted in a lawsuit or two but now, Trey's being accused of something much more severe, in the realm of assaulting women.
Back in February, during NBA All-Star Weekend, Trey allegedly assaulted a woman by striking her in the face during an after party. The woman supposedly obtained a restraining order for her safety in fear that he would attempt to return one of the Los Angeles nightclubs that she 'works' in search of her.
Well, now, the assault accuser has been identified as Andrea Buera who recently held a public press conference unveiling her identity for the first time alongside her attorney, the infamous Lisa Bloom. Her lawyer is the same one who represented Black Chyna in all of her legal dealings as well as the portly young lady who claimed to contract the herpes virus from Usher Raymond.
Yesterday, Andrea Buera took to the podium and had this to say about her alleged run-in with Trey Songz, “I was attending an afterparty when Trey began yelling at me, choking on me… and ultimately knocked me to the ground... While I was on the ground, he continued punching me and did not stop until his security guard pulled him off me.”
Also, it's been revealed that Andrea is most likely a stripper or works in the gentlemen's club circuit around Los Angeles, but something seems a little off about Buera's claims as most real men wouldn't allow for a woman to be violently assaulted in front of them regardless if the abuser is an R&B act or not.
The photos of Burea during the press conference differ from the ones in her 'workplace attire' above, and we're hoping justice is served for whoever is in the right in this particular situation.
The masses need to get woman-beaters and assaulters outta here while the women who lie about the events that take place with alleged abusive men, that could ruin their careers and lives need to be held accountable for their statements and actions as well.
