It looks like Hov really wasn't joking on his single "Picasso Baby" about Blue Ivy leaning on the Yellow Basquiat in their kitchen corner because she owns it. Last night, Beyonce Knowles-Carter was honored at the Second Annual Wearable Art Gala at Los Angeles' Alexandria Ballrooms for her humanitarian work which also involved a live auction where multiple art pieces were sold.

This is where Blue Ivy Carter took the opportunity to flex her taste in fine art by initially bidding on an acrylic and crushed glass painting of Sidney Poitier by Tiffanie Anderson entitled "Young Sidney" for $17,000. This is when Jay reacted by attempting to take the auctioning paddle from his daughter who continued to giggle as she bid another $10K towards the art piece which forced the auctioneer to comment the following:

“Oh y’all made me come from behind the podium because Blue was out there bidding... You gonna do 19?” The auctioneer also added, “Let me tell you, her mother and father have been talking about how you gather art... That is a big deal for African-Americans. You know Miss Tina told me all of this.”

Investing in the art realm is a good look that many ignore because of a lack of fiscal patience but, even the most casual art aficionado should be knowledgeable enough to know that art doesn't depreciate in value but rather it increases over time for original artwork and it looks like Blue Ivy is well aware of this at the tender age of just six-years-old.

For those of you interested in taking a better look at the painting that Blue Ivy dropped a five-figure bid on, head to Tiffanie Anderson's IG page, @theprettyartist and let us know your thoughts on the work of art in the comment section below.
