Eminem will drop the third single from his Revival album on Saturday, March 17, with the extended version of "Nowhere Fast" set to reach fans at the stroke of midnight (Eastern Time).

The Detroit rap great took to Instagram to announce the impromptu drop early on Friday evening. It is anticipated that the song will stream well on the heels of the memorable set he did with Kehlani during last weekend's iHeartRadio Music Awards. The cut ought to also draw some attention considering the political nature of the iHeart performance - and how it preceded a week of anti-gun violence protests that took place in Washington D.C. and at high schools across the nation in the days that followed.

Fans who tuned in to watch the iHeart awards will recall the music ensuing after young Parkland shooting survivor Alex Moscou came to the stage to challenge the U.S. government to take actions on guns. Em then followed up the plea by modifying the song's intro to include the line: "Gun owners clutching their loaded weapons/ They love their guns more than our children."

"Nowhere Fast" follows the releases of the lead single, "Walk On Water," featuring Beyonce, and the Ed Sheeran assisted, "River" - which was Revival's second single.
