Tensions in Clevland continue to rise as the Cavaliers fight to hold onto fourth place in the Eastern Conference. Currently, their record sits at 39-29. They are one game ahead of the Washington Wizards, and one game behind the Indiana Pacers. LeBron James, who has been averaging 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists per game, got into a heated exchanged with Coach Tyronn Lue during the Cavs loss to the Portland Trailblazers on Thursday night.

The Cavs started to witness the game slip away from them, while LeBron was sitting on the bench a few seats down from Coach Lue. The two began to argue with each other heatedly, and the tension surrounding the bench was immediately discernable. LeBron and Lue had a few exchanges throughout the night. According to Yahoo Sports reporter Chris Mannix, Coach Lue, "didn't love James's shot selection," which sparked the argument.

James ended the game with 35 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in 41 minutes of play.

Speaking with reporters, James stated, “We sustained our energy, we sustained our effort and we left everything out on the floor. Even being short-handed we still wanted to play the caliber of basketball we are accustomed to playing, and I think we did that.”

Kevin Love, Larry Nance Jr., and Tristan Thompson are all sidelined with injuries.
