Last week, Bow Wow took to his Instagram page with a cryptic post that spotted his followers the snippet from what appeared to be a new video, in the caption of which he promised he was ready to "let it fly." In hindsight, the warning shot was clear, with the first line in the clip declaring that "Snoop said get these n****s so I'ma get 'em dawg."

But it wasn't until the Bad Boy rapper came out of left field with the full-length track on Tuesday (March 13) that fans learned he's apparently had some words for Chris Brown for some time.

Judging by lyrics he spits on the second verse in "Emotional" Bow Wow seems to have been let down by Brown at some point in the not so distant past. He makes mention of them not speaking to one another in public and vents on how much it hurts being he considers him one of his "day ones." He then goes on to extend an olive branch for them to connect and put their problems behind them, before warning that he will be approaching his counterpart in person if he finds out the man has been responding recklessly on Twitter.

In the last lines of the song, Bow Wow confesses that he's been drinking and imagining that he'll likely regret everything he's said on the record when he sobers up. The ending is consistent with an explanation he'd later provide on IG of how he wrote the piece while drunk off of Ciroc.

Seeing how the 31-year-old rapper is signed to Diddy, Bow Wow has been posting pictures promoting the liquor regularly, and closes the video out with the Ciroc logo. However, he does appear to get genuinely vulnerable in his explanation video, telling fans, "The things that I've been going through in my life in the past six years, a lot of s**t y'all don't know."

Upon hearing the record for the first time on The Shade Room, Brown seemed just as taken aback as anyone, asking, "I'm confused... U good bro?"
