XXXTentacion Announces That He's Getting His GED and Going to College

XXXTentacion is one of hip hop’s most polarizing young superstars- not only for his music but his honesty on issues and his openness with his fans.

In keeping with his candidness, X took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce to his followers that he’s going to outdo naysayers and make his way to college.

"I never thought I would say this but, I'm excited to go to college.” X said, before issuing a declaration that his improvement upon himself will help him “surpass” many. “I will do better than those before me. I will surpass all of you!"

Alongside the announcement, the post's caption read, "IM GOING TO COLLEGE BABY!!! GETTING THIS GED AND SURPASSING THOSE BEFORE ME!!!"

XXXTentacion is no stranger to getting problems off his chest via social media. In February, X revealed that he was putting a cease to uploading songs on SoundCloud. "I am never, and I repeat never uploading to SoundCloud ever again,” he wrote via an Instagram story.

XXXTentacion accused the streaming platform of removing his song “Hope.” “If you want to listen to my music from now on you're going to have to go to Spotify or Apple, I'm done with SoundCloud." wrote X

Since then, X has dropped a freestyle over "King's Dead" from the Black Panther soundtrack.
