Around the time of the Bad Boy reunion tour in 2016, video surfaced of former Bad Boy rapper Craig Mack rapping at the controversial Overcomer Ministry in Walterboro, South Carolina. Some had referred to the church as a "cult" at the helm of pastor Ralph Gordon Stair, who was investigated last year for allegedly touching an underage girl's breast.
Craig can be seen in the 2016 video standing alongside Stair while spitting a quick freestyle. At the end of the video, Mack can be heard telling Stair, "Thank you Prophet."
News surfaced on Tuesday, March 13, that Craig Mack had passed away at 46 from congestive heart failure.
