Former runway model and fashion mogul Kimora Lee Simmons reportedly received a death threat while using the restroom in a Los Angeles movie theater where she was attending an event.

On Saturday afternoon (March 10), law enforcement was called to the Cinemark Theater in LA. Officers were told that Kimora Lee received a direct death threat when she walked into a bathroom stall at the venue. Inside the booth, "your going to die, bye bye, 3/10/18, today," was written on the wall. There is no word on who discovered the creepy message and phoned the authorities.

Kimora was at the theater to attend a charity event with a South Central LA organization that had organized to take children from the neighborhood to see the Ava DuVernay-directed Disney film A Wrinkle in Time. There is no report on if Kimora stayed at the event after the discovery of the threat or if she plans to continue attending events in the up and coming weeks.

Police are still investigating the cryptic message. Kimora Lee Simmons has been in the news recently to defend the character of her former husband Russell Simmons as he faces a barrage of sexual misconduct allegations including rape. The pair has two daughters together and remain close friends and working associates.
