Boonk Gang, birth name John Robert Hill, got nabbed for possession of weapons and illegal drugs.

The Jacksonville rapper first got his start for his bold social media presence. His fame rose from being known for being on "a whole lotta gang s**t" by doing snatch and grabs or causing a ruckus in public. It then trickled to getting bizarre face tattoos and making himself over into looking like a black Joker. Now, his new rapping phase has got him caught up in "a whole lotta" trouble.

The 21-year-old was arrested on Wednesday at his Calabasas home on the block of Ceanothus Place. Deputy Charles Moore explained information was shared with the Information Bureau about "a man who was in possession of narcotics and assault weapons," according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

Once a proper search warrant for Boonk's house was received, Calabasas police arrested him on suspicion of having medication that was not prescribed by a medical professional. Photos of two automatic firearms were also released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Hill didn't stay locked away for long. Though he was being held on $35,000, he was able to be released after making bond that same day.

Boonk can now look forward to appearing in court on Friday.
