Earlier this week, Forbes magazine revealed their annual Hip-Hop's Wealthiest List and as per usual, Dr. Dre, Puffy, and Jay Z were holding the top three spots with Eminem and Drake holding the fourth and fifth spots with an accumulated net worth $100 million each.

But this year, the top three spots displayed something that we've never seen since the conception of the Forbes Hip-Hop's Wealthiest list dating back to 2011. We've seen Dr. Dre at the number spot due to his involvement with Beats headphones, we've seen Diddy hit the top spot multiple times due to his involvement and ownership stake in Ciroc, but we've never seen Hov hit the number one slot until now.

Jay was able to up his net worth from $810 million to $900 million in a single fiscal year due to his very own Tidal streaming service which many thought of as a bad investment initially, as well as his ownership stake in alcohol brands, Armand de Brignac champagne, and D’Ussé cognac, making the Roc Nation leader the number one cash king in this year's Forbes list.

With the crown now belonging to Hov, Diddy decided to take to Instagram to share this message with Jay Z:

I feel so blessed that we are all seeing eye to eye! It’s time for us to work for the betterment of our people! We will educate! We will share information! No sucker shit allowed! We will show our people how together all of us have to build BLACK GENERATIONAL WEALTH! We all WE GOT! #theblackrenaissance HAS BEGUN!!! And you’re all invited. TOGETHER WE RISE!!! Anything else is for suckas! WE ARE ❤️✊🏿 #blackexcellence

This is the type of comradery needed in the hip-hop realm and Hov and Diddy are the perfect examples of how we should all move in hopes of future progress.
