It’s an undeniable fact that Nicki Minaj is one the most decorated artists in music today. Since bursting on the scene, Minaj has evolved from a gritty underground rapper to one of the leading women in entertainment. The Queens emcee has dropped memorable verses and raised her profile with acting roles and spots on reality shows such as American Idol.

However, her rise would be nothing if it were not for her consistency for dropping hit records. Back in March 2017, Nicki Minaj made history surpassing Aretha Franklin for the most appearances for a woman on the Billboard Hot 100.

While Minaj has taken a break from social media, Cash Money head honcho Birdman revealed a new plaque that celebrates Minaj’s domination of the charts. “@nickiminaj achieving tha most charted songs among WOMEN in tha HISTORY of BILLBOARD Hot 100 #YMCMBEAST #BESTEVA #BARBIE #FEMALETUNECHI #plaks on my wall” captioned the post of Minaj’s gold award.

This comes after Birdman recently sang praises about the rapper to RapUp Tv, calling her the “best female ever in hip-hop.”

“I don't think no female ever. In the modern time or the before time is more talented than Nicki Minaj.” Birdman said. “She's creative bruh. There's levels to this sh*t. Very much levels to this sh*t and she is an elite.”
