In a new interview with High Snobiety, rapper Post Malone discussed a number of topics, including video games, cartoons, growing older, and which rappers he’s fond of. The most compelling part of the interview was when the “Congratulations” hitmaker was asked what is the biggest lie out there, and he named the U.S. government.

The 22-year-old became animated as he answered, “The biggest lie in the world is the U.S. government,” he exclaimed. “It’s a f*cking reality show and I think there’s gonna be a lotta weird sh*t that happens within our generation that really changes the way of the world.”

He also added that Americans shouldn't "give up", and rather should move countries, because "whenever martial law is declared," you'll only have three days to leave the country.

Though Post has given a number of controversial interviews, especially some in November 2017 about the meaning of hip-hop, this is the first time he has gone live with sharing his political perspectives.

Elsewhere in the interview, Post discussed his love for 50 Cent, calling him "legendary."

The multi-platinum artist is currently gearing up for a North American tour with 21 Savage, scheduled to begin in April at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland. He is also slated to drop his long-delayed Beerbongs & Bentleys album.
