The FBI investigation into the NCAA is still in it's early stages but it is already causing chaos throughput the college basketball world. Shareef O'Neal, son of NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, has announced that he is officially decommitting from the University of Arizona. O'Neal originally committed to the Wildcats last April. Arizona head coach was reportedly caught on wiretap discussing a $100,000 transaction to guarantee a top prospect.

ESPN reported Friday night that FBI wiretaps intercepted phone conversations between Miller and Christian Dawkins, a runner for sports agent Andy Miller. The two men talked about a $100,000 payment to ensure potential first round draft pick Deandre Ayton signed with the Wildcats.

Miller did not travel with the team to coach in Arizona's 98-93 loss to Oregon on Saturday.

O'Neal is a 6-foot-9 power forward ranked number 29 in his class. He didn't sign a letter of intent during the early signing period last year. He instead chose to sign nonbinding financial aid papers with Arizona, which will allow him to commit to another school without requesting a release from Arizona.

Prior to his commitment, Kentucky and LSU were thought to be among his potential destinations. Popular opinion is his he's now leaning toward Kentucky.
