In spite of all of the star power Golden State is stacked with, Lil Wayne believes that one Lebron James can make all of the difference in a Finals series against them - regardless of who Cleveland sends out to play alongside him.

During his latest appearance on Fox's Undisputed on Monday, February 19, Weezy found himself in disagreement over the notion that the imbalance of talent between conferences makes it impossible for the Cavs or anyone else coming out of the East to compete against the West.

Skip, Shannon and Joy transitioned into a talk on the prospective postseason after getting Wayne's thoughts on the Eastern Conference's 148-145 victory over the mighty West in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Wayne said he appreciated seeing how competitive the NBA All-Star Game's new arbitrary team format proved to be, but admits that he'd prefer to see a return to the conventional process next year. The way he sees it, although the West clearly has the greater talent pool, there is something to the dynamic of giving the underdog the opportunity to prove that they can match-up with the more dominant coast. And just like Lebron was able to put a Kevin Love/Kristaps Porzingis-less team of All-Stars on his back to overcome the opposition, he doesn't see how the 4-time MVP wouldn't be able to do the same with the new crop of Cavs down the stretch.

"We also have to understand that this would be a guy that's there that lost to the Warriors - that, no matter who's around him, if he gets back to that point against that team... We've just got to consider the fact that that's who they're playing against; Lebron," Weezy said, after posing that he thinks LBJ can give Golden State a run for their money. "It don't matter who else they're playing. They're playing against Lebron in the Finals again? We've gotta worry about what he's gonna do," he said.
