On Saturday (February 17), before the NBA's annual Celebrity All-Star Game, Jamie Foxx got up and walked out on an interview with ESPN's Michael Smith. Foxx awkwardly removed his lavalier mic and returned to the basketball court after Smith asked a question about his rumored girlfriend, Katie Holmes.

Smith ushered in his question about the actress by first saying, "I know you prepared because I saw pictures." He went on to add, "Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine's Day? Like some real 'Love and Basketball?'"

While Jamie and Katie have been rumored to be involved for some time now, it was just recently that photos of the two heading to play basketball surfaced. Many felt Smith's question seemed harmless, but Foxx was not willing to discuss his relationship with him on-air. If they are involved, both have remained pretty tight-lipped about their relationship.

TMZ Sports tracked down Jemele Hill, Smith's former co-host and asked her what she thought about the way Foxx acted after the question. She went on to say she believed it to be bizarre and unnecessary.

"I thought he unnecessarily made Mike look bad," Hill said to the cameraman. "I thought it was kind of bizarre why he acted that way ... like I thought [Jamie's relationship with Katie] was pretty public and that everybody knew, but apparently, everybody doesn't know."

Hill was a SportsCenter co-host, but earlier this year she left to work with The Undefeated.
