No doubt if you've been on social media at any point in the last 24 hours, you've seen the memes about Fergie and her performance at Sunday night's NBA All-Star Game.

Cameras at the game caught several people appearing to try and hide their laughter during the song, including Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Kimmel. Fergie didn't quite sing "The Star Spangled Banner" as we know it, instead, she added her own twist. The singer told TMZ that in hindsight, that wasn't such a good idea.

"I've always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA. I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best."

Twitter wasn't particularly kind to Fergie either. "I've seen the national anthem performed hundreds of times but never in the key of 'Happy Birthday Mr. President' congrats @Fergie" one user wrote. "Not sure what Fergie was going for on that national anthem performance but if it was 'my friend's drunk mom acting sexy' she nailed it," Another said.

One person who tweeted about The Black Eyed Peas entertainer was one you might not expect-- Roseanne Barr. At a San Diego Padres game in 1990, she performed her own rendition of the song, which was highly criticized. Even then-president George H.W. Bush called it "disgraceful."

"Who saw Fergie's national anthem performance at the NBA All-Star Game? I think mine was better lowkey," Barr joked.
