TMZ recently caught up with Floyd Mayweather at NBA All-Star Weekend, where they asked him about McGregor saying that Floyd has backed out of negotiations for a MMA fight against him.

Conor wrote on Instagram that he understands Floyd's decision to stay retired, writing, "I am happy for Floyd and his recent announcement that he is out of these current fight negotiations. It is the reason I never seeked the rematch in the first place. I was happy for him in retirement. My game is a very unforgiving one. It is not like other games."

When the TMZ cameraman asked, "Are your MMA hopes distinguished?," Floyd simply responded, "I don't know."
