After America suffered its eighteenth school shooting just 44 days into 2018, many people have been speaking out and questioning how to prevent these tragedies, as well as protect the youth. Cardi B recently took to her Instagram to address the middle schoolers and high schoolers who follow her about what has been going on and how to prevent it.

"I've been seeing a lot of school shootings happening, and it's never the jock, the cheerleader, the popular kid," Cardi stated. "It's always the kid that looks a little bit socially awkward."

The 25-year-old Bronx native said that she "feels like one of the best ways to prevent [the shootings] is to stop picking on these kids." Cardi feels that kids should be complimenting and supporting each other. She goes on to say that bullying helpless and awkward peers make the aggressor "pu**y" because they know ultimately kids who shy away from confrontation aren't going to do anything at the moment.

Many other people though not as brash as Cardi B have also talked about the effects of bullying, explicitly cyberbullying in today's age on children, and how overwhelming it becomes.
