Pusha T has been declaring his long-awaited debut album King Push will be the album of the year since announcing it would be releasing in 2018.

The Virginia rapper who is one-half of the Clipse has been gearing fans up for the release. He recently spoke about the album while performing at an Adidas event during the NBA's All-Star weekend. The album was initially supposed to be produced by Pharrell and Kanye West, but those plans seemed to have changed. While speaking about the record, a fan yelled out Kanye's name from the crowd. Pusha acknowledged the sentiment by saying, "Yeah [Kanye] doing it. He doing that. Produced top to bottom by Kanye West."

Pusha goes on to call himself and Ye's duo, "the best lyricist and the best producer" before saying that the combination will create "the best album of the year." Pusha frequently speaks about working with Ye and how he pushes him to be a better rapper and performer all around.

While it will be his first official solo album, it follows behind two solo EP's the rapper released 2015’s King Push — Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude and 2013’s My Name Is My Name. Are you looking forward to music from the pair?
