Dennis Rodman took to Instagram yesterday to share some good news with his followers. He announced in a video that he had reached a new milestone in his journey toward sobriety, 30 straight days sober.

He also expressed in the video that a lot of people doubted him and "didn't think he could do it." Also, the NBA Hall Of Famer thanked his fans for their support during his recovery.

Rodman checked himself into rehab on January 17, following a DUI arrest. He checked out a week later to get long-term treatment at the Turning Point Center in Los Angeles. His former agent Darren Prince confirmed the news soon after.

"It’s no secret Dennis has been struggling on and off with alcoholism the past 17 years," Prince said in an interview with USA TODAY. "He’s been dealing with some very personal issues the past month, and we’re going to get him the help he needs now."

He was also arrested for a DUI in 1999 and 2003 and spent three weeks in rehab in 2014. The 56-year-old Rodman won five NBA titles in his career and was inducted into the basketball Hall Of Fame in 2011. In recent years he's been talked about more for his unlikely friendship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un than his legendary career.
