As fans will famously quote him saying in the opening line of the smash hit that started it all for the Brooklyn rapper ("Gummo"), Tekashi 6ix9ine was indeed "In the hood with them Billie n****s and them Hoover n***as" on Saturday night, February 17.

Against warnings put out by multiple L.A. gangs, 6ix9ine and his Trey Way mob touched down in the West Coast over the weekend, and they've been documenting their arrival for the city's NBA All-Star Game festivities, since.

In one particular video that has been circulating social media, he gloats about hanging loose among the presence of Hoover Crips on Hollywood Blvd. The clip surfaced within hours of a recording that showed a different set of Crips marching through a hotel lobby in search of where 6ix9ine might be situated.

A number of stories have surfaced that tell of Tekashi's stay from differing perspectives. Some are saying that they have successfully blocked him from showing up at the clubs most frequented by rap celebs, while others feature vocal enemies of the Bloods affiliate maintaining that they are just waiting to spot him out in public.

Whatever the case may be, it does appear that Tekashi 6ix9ine has kept his word amidst tensions over the cross-country trip.
