Shaquille O'Neal had to fall back as TNT's resident rapper to make way for hip-hop's undisputed West Coast king on Saturday, February 17. But in having laid his own Los Angeles legacy down via three championship runs with the Lakers, he still had a little something to contribute when it was time to pass the mic over to Snoop Dogg.

With Snoop being an avid MMA, football, and basketball fan, he is known to be as adept at delivering on-point sports commentary as any artist out there is. Likewise, with Shaq having a four studio-albums and platinum plaque under his belt, one might say he is to the rap genre what Snoop is to the world of athletics. And if their collaboration on a little verse they graced the live audience with is any indication, it turns out that they mesh well.

At one point during the telecast, Shaq went into beatboxing mode and began humming the baseline Dr. Dre used on his classic "Gin and Juice." His co-hosts then bobbed along with the crowd before the Long Beach rapper seamlessly hopped on the beat for what turned out to be one for the highlight reel.
