Travis Scott joins the ranks of other hip-hop stars and people within the Black community who have generously rented out movie theaters for people to enjoy Marvel's Black Panther free of charge.

After watching the movie, the Houston rapper took to his Instagram account to make the announcement. "I LOVED BLACK PANTHER SO MUCH RENTED TWO MOVIE THEATRES FOR THE KIDS TO WATCH #godsplan#bigshots," wrote Scott under a poster for his scheduled screening. He rented out two theaters for a 4:50 PM showing of the movie at the AMC Fountains 18 in Stafford, Texas.

The "Pick Up the Phone" rapper, hashtagged "God's Plan" to show how he was paying an act of kindness forward in homage to Drake; who yesterday released his video for "God's Plan" where he used the near one million dollar budget for the video to perform several acts of charity.

Kendrick Lamar and his TDE camp, who are responsible for curating the soundtrack to the film also rented out three theaters in Watts, CA for a 1,000 underprivileged kids to watch T'Challa's story unfold.

The hype surrounding Black Panther and its representation of a Pan-African nation has grown exponentially. The presale tickets broke records that surpassed any other Marvel movie. Now it is being reported that the Ryan Coogler film with a majority Black cast will likely bank $200 million in its U.S. debut.
