Word is going around that Drake may have "stolen" XXXTentacion's technique of helping the community.

Drake's "God's Plan" video recently dropped and fans were ecstatic to see what Champagne Papi came up with. Rather than going the typical flashy music video route, Drake decided to take the close to $1 million budget his label gave him and give it away by paying for people's expenses, donating to a shelter, and more. Drizzy admitted it's "the most important thing" he's ever done in career.

While there's no argument that what he did was beautiful, some have been distracted by the fact that it's very similar to XXXTentacion's #thehelpinghandchallenge. XXX has been very vocal about the importance of helping the community since the breakout of his career. However, it seems as though Drake is getting more attention for the same motivations he, now, shares with the "Look At Me" rapper.

Tentacion shared in a video that he's very happy that Drake has stepped up.

"I'm actually really happy about what he did for the city...I'm very, very, very grateful and I'm glad, at least, Drake was able to be publicized for the good that he's doing for the city. I'm just glad that some sort of positivity was being publicized.

On the other hand, Drake hasn't acknowledged being inspired by XXX to make the sudden acts of charity. He, instead, created his own challenge to "just go out and do something for someone," after admitting he's "not into challenges on IG" and "finds them annoying."
