"I'm like, 'hey, what's up, hello,'" is probably one of the most easily recognized lines in modern-day hip-hop. Fetty Wap took over the hip-hop airwaves for what seemed like an eternity after his hit record "Trap Queen," blew up. The Paterson, New Jersey-born rapper recently sat down with GQ to speak about the origins behind his countless tattoos.

"I actually don't like tattoos, it hurts," admits Fetty. "I like the way they look, I just don't like the way it feels when you get them," he continues. Fetty goes on to speak about his first tattoo, which he claims he was too young to receive. "I told my mother I'd never tell her, so... I just was young," jokes Fetty when the interviewer asks him how old he was when he got his first ink.

"This is the most painful tattoo I ever received," states Fetty as he points to a music note inked in the space between his thumb and index finger. "Bro, I don't know what was going on that day, or if he had a bad day... but he took all his f*cking anger out on me. And I'm never ever getting a hand tattoo ever again," claims Fetty. He continues on with several colorful anecdotes about his ink work in the interview.
