In Paradise Valley, Arizona, a group of high school students are in trouble after they posed for a picture-- as a human swastika.

The photo was sent over Snapchat and shared with ABC15. The station reports a source told them the Paradise Valley High School students involved were suspended. However, that wasn't confirmed by the school district. In a statement, The Paradise Valley Unified School District said in part, "PVSchools does not tolerate or condone this type of behavior. Paradise Valley High School is conducting an investigation and student(s) will be disciplined in accordance with the Parent/Student Handbook."

The school's principal, Ian Deonise, sent out a separate letter to parents. "Our culture of PRIDE is built on a foundation of mutual respect, inclusiveness, and compassion for others. This reprehensible and embarrassing display is not indicative of our student body, nor the learning environment at PVHS. This was an isolated incident of extremely poor judgment by a small group." The Arizona Republic asked parents what they thought of the Snap. They told the website the photo shocked and disappointed them.

This is not the first incident of its kind in that school district. Last year, at Pinnacle High school, police found a wall where someone scrawled several swastikas and the words "white power."
