It is almost a day after the wake of the tragic shooting at a high school in Florida, leaving many families in a mournful state. A select few have already turned to social media as a platform to make inappropriate jokes about this horrific occurrence.

A 9th-grade high school student from South Carolina was someone who particularly made one of the offensive posts about another mass shooting that would take place.

The image shows the student standing in what appeared to be a bathroom with a weapon in his hand and a caption across stating,"'Round 2 of Florida tomorrow."

The student holding the assault rifle in the picture was not overlooked by the authorities.

The unidentified student was placed in custody after a parent who was concerned about the Snapchat post, turned to police.

TMZ reported that the police swooped in on the students home. The student claimed that the picture was intended to be a joke. After a thorough search of the students home, the weapon turned out to be an airsoft rifle. They were unable to find any firearms in the home.

The 9th grader is currently being held at a juvenile facility.
