Floyd Mayweather has taken to Instagram to share his perspective on women and men today, Valentine’s Day, February 14. The boxing champion sits in his home, wearing a black, white and red Gucci cardigan over a white tee, a diamond cross necklace around his neck, and a signature TMT snapback hat.
He stares away from the camera as he says, “I’m sitting back and i’m thinking. it’s 365 days. And to a lot of men. Only four days are special. Birthday, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas. What about the other 361 days? I feel like a woman should be able to feel special all the time. A man should treat a woman good all the time. Not just those four days. Me myself. I’ma treat a woman good, all through the year. Happy Valentine’s Day,” he says, flashing a smile.
The 40-year-old boxer has four children, two daughers and two sons, from two different women. In the past, he has been in the media for domestic violence against his girlfriends (mothers of his children) multiple times, beginning in 2002. He was also arrested in 2003 for two counts of battery after allegedly fighting two women in a Las Vegas nightclub.
