A letter written by Malcolm X to his mentor Elijah Muhammad is now up for sale. The civil rights leader penned the letter in 1959, seeking marital advice for him and his wife Betty Shabazz. According to TMZ, the letter details issues that he had been trying to sort out for months.

Reportedly, the letter was originally obtained by Elijah Muhammad's son, who gave it to his attorney. Eventually, it was sold to a collector (about 20 years ago) and is now on the market for $75,000. February 21 will mark the 53rd anniversary of Malcolm X's death.
