Dennis Schroder helped his last place Hawks add another game to the loss column for the Detroit Pistons under Blake Griffin on Sunday, February 11, and he did so by sinking six shots from the line in the final 20 seconds of the game. But it wasn't the free throws that helped cap off Atlanta's 118-115 victory at home that the fans in attendance at Philips Arena remember.

Rather, it is Griffin's technical that got him a free shot earlier on in the contest that had many laughing to themselves on the ride back home.

After growing furious over a loose-ball foul that he was called on in the second quarter, Griffin looked over Schroder's shoulder at referee Michael Smith. After holding his stare for a brief moment, the newly acquired Pistons star got a grip on he basketball and went to pass it in his direction - only - the toss came up way short and bounced off of Schroder's head. Schroder wasn't pleased by the negligent pass and turned around to confront Griffin.

Griffin would give off some dejected body language after he was T'd up over the incident, but replays appear to show that he had his eyes trained directly on Schroeder.
