A Hollywood movie producer who is overseeing the film project on Aaron Hernandez claims that he and his staff are receiving gang threats. As a result, the producer Mark Gordon is looking for court order protection. Gordon has been behind such films as Saving Private Ryan, The Patriot, Molly's Game, and will be bringing the film based on Hernandez's life entitled All-American Murder.

According to TMZ, the issue stems from a dispute between Gordon and another Hollywood producer Todd Guzze who claims that he owns the rights to the film. Gordon claims that Guzze has left him threatening voicemails and emails. In one message Guzze told Gordon, " I don't need to tell you how [the gangs] work ... They're right here in L.A." Guzze continued, "Are you ready? I hope it's worth it." Gordon told authorities that Guzze is threatening him and his staff with physical harm at the hands of potential gang members who Guzze says he's "keeping at bay" over the film.

TMZ was able to get a statement from Guzze who said, "Mark Gordon has taken this too far. Aaron Hernandez is a very sensitive story and I've made him aware on multiple occasions that no one is doing this story but the family and the original partners that were closely tied to Aaron and his estate."

Gordon is asking the court to grant him a restraining order against Guzze to stay at least 300 yards away from him, his office, and his employees.
