On Friday morning, 40-year-old quarterback, Tom Brady expressed gratitude for his hardworking team, New England Patriots after losing the Super Bowl. In an Instagram post Brady recognized his coaches and fans after their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, leaving the score at 41-33 in Super Bowl 52.

Brady posted, "there are many emotions when you come up short of your goal, and they are all part of learning and growing in this journey of life. Learning turns everything into a positive. And the number one feeling I have had the past 4 days is gratitude."

He also took the time to congratulate the opposing team and on taking the championship home and for the challenging them. Although Brady's season ended with disappointing results, it was marked as one of the most admired campaigns a quarterback has orchestrated.

Brady reported to Westwood One before the Super Bowl that he intends to return for football next year Brady stated, "I don't envision not playing."

Brady's closing remarks clarified that he’s nowhere near being a finished player, expressing that he has room for improvement in certain areas. "That's why I love this sport,” he confirmed. “It's challenged me in every way possible."
